Hugo grew up in Suffolk and developed his natural interest in country matters and craftsmanship skills.

After leaving school in Dorset in 2011 he attended a course in fine furniture making with an established contemporary practitioner in Oxfordshire.

After completing the course Hugo joined a small general joinery firm near Witney to learn broader carpentry skills before being given a position at Coryndon Ltd in 2017.

This is a specialised business in bespoke design for boutique markets and high net worth individuals. Hugo continues to be part of the Corydon team on a more flexible basis but has branched out to follow his passion and offer custom solutions for both project based work and individual quality items.
